The LWZ 280 heat recovery ventilation unit is a highly efficient appliance, offering heat recovery levels of up to 94% through an optimised cross-flow heat exchanger. This makes the LWZ 280 ventilation unit an excellent choice for apartments, houses and small commercial properties.

Suitable for large homes with a habitable floor space of 220 – 280m² and includes 14x fresh air supply inlets, and 8x stale air extraction outlets.

This installation kit comes with all the parts and materials required for installation - such as ducts, tape, hanging straps, controller, and the central HRV unit - allowing you to complete the installation without missing any pieces.

To make sure you get the most out of your HRV system we offer a free design service (see below for details), which shows you exactly where to position the central unit, the distribution boxes, and all inlets, outlets and vents.

Contemporary design with ergonomic programming unit and separate filter cover panel; can be used for detached houses and large apartments. Integral controller with multifunction display and seven-day program; can also be used as a remote control. Highly efficient backwards-curved fans with constant flow rate control. Highly efficient cross-countercurrent heat exchanger. Electric preheater in the form of a high-performance heating coil. Bypass damper in supply airline; integral humidity sensor in the extract airline. Straightforward filter replacement using combi filter cassettes. Fine dust filter available as accessory.

Backwards-curved, constant flow rate fans with flow rate control ensure a balanced air flow, thereby promoting efficient operation.

Installation in dwellings, utility rooms, basement rooms, etc. The air connections are located at the top of the unit; easy access to the electrical connection panel without having to open the unit; duplex sheet steel casing; visible surface in alpine white with powder coated finish.

1. What else do I need to complete the installation? Apart from some screws, power, and somewhere to drain a bit of condensation from in the central unit, nothing, we send out a complete kit that can be installed immediately. To install the optional HRV system control panel (supplied in the kit), a low voltage cable is required from the wall mounted control panel to the central HRV unit.
2. What is the warranty on the HRV unit and the system? Stiebel Eltron provides a 2-year warranty on all components supplied.
3. How do I know where to put the vents and install the different system parts? We offer a free design service with every purchase – just supply us with your building plans and we send you back the design. If you request the design before purchasing, a $179 fee applies. This fee will be refunded upon payment for the product order.
4. What happens after I order the unit and pay? We will be in contact with you to confirm the order, delivery address and timeframe, system design (if required), and any other questions you may have.
5. How long until I receive my order, and is there a delivery fee? Within Australian state/territory capital cities delivery is free (excluding Darwin), and your order will usually arrive within 5 business days. For orders outside of capital cities, we offer a flat-rate fee of $200 for delivery.
