MEDIUM Compact Storage Hot Water Heater 1-Phase SNE-10 with TAP KIT
Made in Germany the Stiebel Eltron SNU 10 under sink open vented water heater delivers hot water quickly to a single sink. This point of use water heater eliminates long runs of pipework for isolated sinks and reduce the waiting time for hot water to arrive at the outlet. They are conveniently installed directly underneath the sink and must be fitted with specialised open vented tapware (supplied as part of this kit).

PLEASE NOTE: THE SNU WATER HEATER IS OPEN VENTED AND MUST BE INSTALLED WITH A STIEBEL ELTRON OPEN VENTED TAP (MES, MEW, OR MES-G TAP). TEMPERING VALVES, WATER FILTERS ON THE TAP OR NON APPROVED AERATORS CANNOT BE FITTED TO THIS HOT WATER SYSTEM.

- What else do I need to complete the installation? Generally all that's required is a power supply ... apart from this, nothing, we send out a kit that can be installed immediately. Please note that to comply with regulations some installation types may require additional valves (see above in Kit Contents).
- What is the warranty on the water heater? Stiebel Eltron provides a 5-year domestic warranty, and a 1-year commercial warranty on the SNU units.
- Can I install the SNU water heater with my existing sink mixer? No, the SNU water heater is open vented and requires a specialised open vented sink mixer.
- Does this water heater create hot water that is hot enough to make tea and coffee? No, the SNU is designed to provide hot and cold water to a sink. This unit is not a boiling or chilled system.
- If I run out of hot water how long will it take for the SNU hot water available? The SNU recovers at approximately 1 litre a minute.
- Can I connect two taps to the SNU open vented water heater? No, the SNU water heater is designed as a single point of use water heater and can only be operated with one open vented sink mixer.
- My SNU 10 drips water from the spout, is this normal? Yes, as hot water heats up and expands it will drip from the tap. This only occurs while heating on the 10 litre unit. The SNU 5, on the other hand, incorporates a Drip-Stop function so the open vented taps fitted to the SNU 5 will not drip when heating.
- What happens after I order the unit and pay? We will be in contact with you to confirm the order, delivery address and timeframe, and any other questions you may have.
- How long until I receive my order, and is there a delivery fee? Within Australian state/territory capital cities delivery is free (excluding Darwin), and your order will usually arrive within 3 business days. For orders outside of capital cities, we offer a flat-rate fee of $200 for delivery.
