Achieve a healthy home with the concealed VCR 180 MC central heat recovery ventilation unit for homes and apartments. Air filters installed inside the heat recovery ventilation unit will remove any pollen from the supplied outside air, creating an ideal environment for asthma and allergy sufferers. The cross-flow heat exchanger will capture heat energy from the extracted exhaust air and use it to heat the fresh incoming air, with an efficiency up to 87%

The VCR 180 MC is a Sensitive Choice Approved Product when used in conjunction with the F7 filter (G4 filter included in the installation kit, F7 filter must be purchased separately). Sensitive Choice is a not-for-profit created by the National Asthma Council Australia in 2006 to inform the public about asthma and allergy management and empower consumers to identify asthma and allergy-aware products and services. Sensitive Choice products have been certified and approved by an independent Product Advisory Panel

Suitable for small homes with a habitable floor space of 80 – 125m² and includes 6x fresh air supply inlets, and 3x stale air extraction outlets.

This installation kit comes with all the parts and materials required for installation - such as ducts, tape, hanging straps, controller, and the central HRV unit - allowing you to complete the installation without missing any pieces.

To make sure you get the most out of your HRV system we offer a free design service (see below for details), which shows you exactly where to position the central unit, the distribution boxes, and all inlets, outlets and vents.

Compact design, optimised for installation in suspended ceilings; can be used for up to 125m² living space. Hardwired FEB controller with multifunction display (included), integral humidity sensor and seven-day program, as a programming unit for wall mounting. Efficient constant flow rate fans, highly efficient cross-countercurrent heat exchanger, simple filter change, with coarse dust filter in the extract air and medium dust filter, with option of fine dust filter, in the supply air.

1. What else do I need to complete the installation? Apart from some screws, power, and somewhere to drain a bit of condensation from in the central unit, nothing, we send out a complete kit that can be installed immediately. To install the HRV system control panel, a low voltage cable is required from the wall mounted control panel to the central HRV unit.
2. What is the warranty on the HRV unit and the system? Stiebel Eltron provides a 2-year warranty on all components supplied.
3. How do I know where to put the vents and install the different system parts? We offer a free design service with every purchase – just supply us with your building plans and we send you back the design. If you request the design before purchasing, a $179 fee applies. This fee will be refunded upon payment for the product order.
4. What happens after I order the unit and pay? We will be in contact with you to confirm the order, delivery address and timeframe, system design (if required), and any other questions you may have.
5. How long until I receive my order, and is there a delivery fee? Within Australian state/territory capital cities delivery is free (excluding Darwin), and your order will usually arrive within 5 business days. For orders outside of capital cities, we offer a flat-rate fee of $200 for delivery.
