Complete Installation Kit - Decentralised Heat Recovery Ventilation System
The Stiebel Eltron VLR 70 S is a decentralised ventilation unit with heat recovery for ventilating rooms, apartments and small commercial properties.
It has a contemporary design with a separate programming unit, and 1-pair can be used for floor areas up to approx. 70m2.
This installation kit comes with all the parts and materials required for installation - such as ducts, tape, hanging straps, controller, and the central HRV unit - allowing you to complete the installation without missing any pieces.
To make sure you get the most out of your HRV system we offer a free design service (see below for details), which shows you exactly where to position the central unit, the distribution boxes, and all inlets, outlets and vents.

- Use VLR controller (set the operating mode and automatically alerts you when it's time to change the filters)
Description
Includes an axial fan with rigid fan curve, for use even in areas which are exposed to wind. Built with an efficient aluminium heat exchanger and rain-resistant external panel. Straightforward filter replacement using the easy to remove fan unit. Fine dust filter available as an accessory. White powder-coated stainless steel external panel. Matt white plastic internal panel. Latest EC fan ensures efficient operation.
Installation in round or square wall outlets with a maximum wall thickness of 300mm. Easily accessible electrical connection on the inside of the fan unit.
Up to 8 units can be connected and operate together to service larger areas/multiple rooms.

- What else do I need to complete the installation? Apart from some screws, power, and some low voltage cabling between the units and controller, nothing extra is required, we send out a complete kit that can be installed immediately.
- What is the warranty on the HRV unit and the system? Stiebel Eltron provides a 2-year warranty on all components supplied.
- How do I know where to put the vents and install the different system parts? We offer a free design service with every purchase – just supply us with your building plans and we send you back the design. If you request the design before purchasing, a $179 fee applies. This fee will be refunded upon payment for the product order.
- What happens after I order the unit and pay? We will be in contact with you to confirm the order, delivery address and timeframe, system design (if required), and any other questions you may have.
- How long until I receive my order, and is there a delivery fee? Within Australian state/territory capital cities delivery is free (excluding Darwin), and your order will usually arrive within 5 business days. For orders outside of capital cities, we offer a flat-rate fee of $200 for delivery.
