Not for: Walls thicker than 300 mm (the VLR 70 L is needed), or whole new houses where a ducted system is planned.

What you get

The units work in pairs. While one supplies fresh air, its partner extracts stale air; every 40 seconds or so they swap. In extract mode the heat exchanger stores the heat from the outgoing air, and in supply mode it hands it to the fresh air coming in.

They are quiet, not silent: keep them 2 to 3 metres from a bedhead, with a gap of about 15 mm under bedroom doors so the air can move.

  • Each unit needs a hole through an outside wall; plan positions in pairs, on opposite sides of the home where possible.
  • A licensed electrician connects the power supply.
