Warranty: what is covered and how to claim
Every product comes with Stiebel Eltron's Australian manufacturer's warranty, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something goes wrong, contact us first: we deal with Stiebel Eltron for you.
Domestic warranty by product

What keeps the warranty valid
- Installation by licensed tradespeople, following Stiebel Eltron's installation instructions and the rules in your state.
- A certificate of compliance from your installer.
- Keeping our tax invoice: a claim needs the seller's name and the purchase date.
- For heat pumps and ventilation, the warranty starts when installation is completed, so note the date.
Stiebel Eltron can reject a claim if a unit was not installed by registered, qualified tradespeople or not commissioned to its guide.
How to make a claim
- Email orders@energylabs.com.au with your order number, the model and serial number, the installation date and what is wrong.
- Attach the certificate of compliance and a photo of the serial number plate.
- We lodge the claim with Stiebel Eltron and keep you informed until it is sorted.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law come on top of the manufacturer's warranty. For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or a refund. See our terms of sale.
