How it works

Buying a heat pump online, step by step

You choose the unit, your local tradesperson installs it, and we get it to your door. Here is the whole process, including the parts most shops leave out.

  1. Pick the right unit

Use the heat pump selector or a category guide. Each product page says who the unit suits and who it doesn't. Building, renovating or ventilating a whole house? The design service works it out from your plans.

  2. Get your installer's price first

Every product page has an installer brief: size, weight, power supply, connections and the valves the job needs. Send it to a licensed plumber (and electrician, if the unit is hard-wired) and get a fixed install price before you order.

  3. Order online

Pay by Visa or Mastercard through Stripe, or by bank transfer. Prices include GST. Delivery is free to capital cities except Darwin; elsewhere it is a flat $200, shown at checkout before you pay.

  4. We confirm the details

We process your order within one business day and get in touch to confirm the delivery address, timing and anything about access to your site. Your tax invoice comes by email.

  5. Delivery to your door

Orders ship from distribution centres in every state and mainland territory except the NT. Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 business days. Someone needs to sign for it. You can ask for a particular day and we will do our best to meet it.

  6. Install, register, claim

Your tradesperson installs it to the manufacturer's instructions. Keep your tax invoice for the warranty, and check the rebates for your state: on a heat pump hot water system they can be worth hundreds of dollars.

FAQ

The questions people ask about buying online

Will a plumber install a unit I bought online?

Most will, as long as the unit is the right one for the job and arrives complete. Send them the installer brief from the product page before you order and ask for a fixed price. If they say no, you have found out before spending a cent.

Do you install?

Only in Perth and the south-west of WA, through our sister business Euroheat Australia. Everywhere else, your local licensed plumber and electrician install it.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes. Choose bank transfer at checkout. We send your order out once the payment lands.

Do I get a tax invoice?

Yes, by email when we process your order. Keep it: you need it for warranty claims and for most rebates.
